The Heard Museum attracts nearly 250,000 visitors annually. It was founded in 1929 to hold a personal collection of art. The gallery has since grown to hold over 35,000 items, with satellite locations in Scottsdale and the West Valley. Exhibits include jewelry, Hopi kachina dolls and Native American Art.
