Hollywood Sign
The Hollywood Sign is located on the southern side of Mount Lee in Griffith Park. It is the most famous landmark of Los Angeles. The sign stands 50 feet tall in white letters. The original sign was created in 1923 as an advertisement for housing, which read 'HollywoodLand'. The sign became so popular, the city decided to preserve it.
