Independence Hall dates back to 1753 as the Pennsylvania State House. It became the meeting place during the American Revolution and was home to many historical events. The Declaration of Independence and the Articles of Confederation were signed here. The building tower also held the Liberty Bell, which is now on display at the Liberty Bell Center
