John and Maggie Moore came to the Baltimore area from County Monaghan in Ireland. Like many who came before them, they came here in search of their dream. They wanted to own an “authentic” Irish Pub. Not just any pub, but one that reflected the true spirit of an Irish pub from its décor to its legendary hospitality. John and Maggie embody the spirit of the Irish. With their warm smiles and firm handshakes they will, no doubt, make you feel welcome. They came to the United States in 1988 and worked with great determination over a long period of time to have their dream begin to take shape in April of 2004. Finally after a year of renovations and planning they opened the doors of Maggie Moore’s Irish Pub and Restaurant at 21 N. Eutaw Street. Maggie Moore's Irish Pub & Restaurant in downtown Baltimore invites visitors to enjoy some of the finer aspects of the traditional Irish Pub all wrapped up in a warm Irish welcome.
